What Is Embodied Processing?

Embodied Processing is a trauma-informed somatic modality that gently guides you to meet and integrate unresolved emotional pain, stored trauma, and stuck patterns by reconnecting with the innate wisdom of your body.

Rooted in the work of The Centre for Healing, this approach understands that trauma isn’t just what happened to you...
It’s what your nervous system couldn’t process at the time.
The memory, the emotion, the energy it stays stored in the body until it feels safe enough to be seen, felt, and released.

Instead of talking about the problem, we work with what’s alive in the body, in the moment.
It’s not about fixing. It’s about feeling through, with compassion, curiosity, and safety.

Why I Combine It With Breathwork

Many of us spend years in our heads overthinking, over-performing, over-analyzing. Breath invites us back into presence. It opens the body and softens the defenses that keep us in survival mode.

In these sessions, breathwork is used gently and intentionally not to push or provoke, but to create space for the body to express what words cannot.

Together, breath and somatic tracking create a powerful foundation for nervous system healing and lasting transformation.
